Ladle pourer • Lake County, Ohio

Now hiring: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Lake County, Ohio. You will be based on the moulding line. On the job you will handle: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
