Overlocker operator — Jefferson County

Join our team: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Jefferson County, Ohio. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Day to day you will keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
