Now hiring: we are hiring a VMC operator in Custer County, Nebraska. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift The role involves: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $21 per hour, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
