Now hiring: we are hiring a PVC window assembler in Garfield County, Nebraska. The job is at a glazing and fabrication factory. Requirements: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings Day-to-day duties: • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash Rotating shifts.
