We are recruiting: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Prince George County, Virginia. You will work on a commercial construction site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Day-to-day duties: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
