Join our team: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Yabo, Sokoto State. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. You should have: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Able to read load charts and lifting plans On a typical shift you will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports.
