PVC window assembler wanted in Dubuque County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a PVC window assembler in Dubuque County, Iowa. You will be based at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. You should have: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads Day-to-day duties: • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter Rotating shifts.
