Construction labourer wanted in Lancaster County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction labourer in Lancaster County, Nebraska. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Day to day you will clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
