PVC window assembler — Cheboygan County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a PVC window assembler in Cheboygan County, Michigan. Your main tasks: • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Full-time with occasional weekends.
