Abattoir worker — Jefferson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. Day-to-day duties: • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry 3+ years on the tools preferred.
