Sand plant operator — White County

Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in White County, Arkansas. You will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Rotating shifts.
