Sample machinist — Marte

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sample machinist in Marte, Borno State. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. Day-to-day duties: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
