Brick and block layer — Dutsin Ma

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Dutsin Ma, Katsina State. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. You should have: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Day to day you will raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
