Power float operator — Socorro County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in Socorro County, New Mexico. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. The role involves mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
