Concrete pump mate — Black Hawk County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Black Hawk County, Iowa. The job is in a residential housing project. Day-to-day duties: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength You should have: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Pay around $17 per hour, based on your experience.
