Heavy equipment operator • Stanton County, Nebraska

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Stanton County, Nebraska. You will work at a road-building project. On a typical shift you will carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines. You should have: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence 3+ years on the tools preferred.
