Aluminium tig welder — Sherman County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Sherman County, Texas. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. On the job you will handle: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Full-time with occasional weekends.
