Civil works labourer — Adams County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Adams County, Mississippi. The job is on a commercial building project. Day-to-day duties: • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns Ideal candidate: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Rotating shifts.
