Kitchen steward wanted in McHenry County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a kitchen steward in McHenry County, Illinois. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. You will mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar; top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls; sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations. Requirements: • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates Full-time, day shift.
