Hoist operator — Minidoka County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hoist operator in Minidoka County, Idaho. You will work in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. The role involves: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Rotating shifts.
