Foundry worker — Warren County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Warren County, New York. The job is on the moulding line. Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal The role involves mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
