Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete worker in Okeechobee County, Florida. You will be based on a building construction site. Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works The role involves carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $240 per day plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours.
