Urgent requirement: rigging foreman (Alaska)

Now hiring: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Lake and Peninsula Borough, Alaska. Your main tasks: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
