Vertical milling machine operator • Jackson County, Tennessee

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Jackson County, Tennessee. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. You will carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
