Immediate opening: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Alameda County, California. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. You will help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations; restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar. Ideal candidate: • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
