Sheet metal press operator — Seward County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Seward County, Kansas. You will be based at a busy press shop. The role involves: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
