Building site helper • Jackson County, Indiana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a building site helper in Jackson County, Indiana. You will be based on a metro and infrastructure project. Day to day you will mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour. Ideal candidate: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it 6+ years on the tools preferred.
