Line cook — Garrard County

Now hiring: we are hiring a line cook in Garrard County, Kentucky. The job is in a hotel kitchen. You will follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
