Sewing machine operator wanted in Skagit County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Skagit County, Washington. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Day-to-day duties: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience.
