Lift erector — Butler County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift erector in Butler County, Ohio. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. Your main tasks: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Rotating shifts. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
