Hydraulic press operator — Gassol

Join our team: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Gassol, Taraba State. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Day-to-day duties: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
