Packing operative — Franklin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a packing operative in Franklin County, Texas. You will work in a cold-storage packing unit. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of basic food hygiene for food packing • Basic numeracy for counting and recording quantities • Comfortable working at speed to meet line targets Day to day you will weigh and portion products before bagging; strap and band pallets ready for loading; record production counts on the shift sheet; check best-before and expiry dates on every box; stack and arrange goods onto pallets for dispatch; seal cartons with a tape gun or hot-melt glue.
