Immediate opening: vertical transportation technician (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Medway, England. You will work in a residential tower block. Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Your main tasks: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
