Mason's helper — Grant County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mason's helper in Grant County, Oregon. You should have: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times On the job you will handle: • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns Rotating shifts.
