Now hiring: we are hiring a core maker in Canadian County, Oklahoma. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
