Foundry worker — Outagamie County

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in Outagamie County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. Day to day you will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
