Vacancy available: we are hiring a baker in Covington County, Alabama. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. Requirements: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Day to day you will score the top of loaves before baking; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
