Urgent requirement: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Santa Barbara County, California. Requirements: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Willing to work rotating and night shifts On a typical shift you will escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting.
