JCB operator • Buckingham County, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a JCB operator in Buckingham County, Virginia. The job is on a housing development site. On the job you will handle: • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse You should have: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
