Shuttering fixer — McCreary County

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in McCreary County, Kentucky. You will work at an infrastructure construction site. You should have: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts The role involves: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
