Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Marion County, Ohio. The job is at a dry cleaner's. The role involves press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; give each garment a final press before packing. Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
