Earthmoving equipment operator — Catawba County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Catawba County, North Carolina. You will be based at a civil contractor's yard. You should have: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes On the job you will handle: • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
