Production operative • Spencer County, Kentucky

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production operative in Spencer County, Kentucky. You will be based at an auto-parts workshop. The role involves measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; set up and start the machine as per the job card; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches. You should have: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
