Vacancy available: shakeout operator (Massachusetts)

Now hiring: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Hampshire County, Massachusetts. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. The role involves: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
