Structural MIG welder — DuPage County

Join our team: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in DuPage County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Day to day you will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose.
