Immediate opening: moulder (Kentucky)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a moulder in Campbell County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
