Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Bates County, Missouri. The job is on an export house sewing floor. You will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Six days a week, one day off.
