Shakeout operator — Cherokee County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Cherokee County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards You will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale.
