Fettler — Brown County

Join our team: we are hiring a fettler in Brown County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Full-time with occasional weekends.
