Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hand presser in Grenada County, Mississippi. The job is at a garment factory. The role involves press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
